Yes do you support reducing defense spending?
Yes do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes do you support reducing Medicaid spending?
Yes do you support reducing Medicare spending?
Yes Is balancing the budget a legislative priority?
Reduction in defense spending should be VERY selective - this should NOT be the main area of cuts to balance the budget, but there ARE ineffective / inefficient programs (Osprey). While I OPPOSE a RATE increase on ANYBODY, I believe in closing loopholes. As in most government programs Medicaid / Medicare program spending can be cut my implementing efficiency and eliminating waste.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Special interest influence has gotten WAY out of hand though control of campaigns.

No Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
No Do you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
No Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
I believe in a Constitutionally limited federal government. Infrastructure projects should be completed on basis of need and efficiency, not just job creation. Tax system needs a complete overhaul, not temporary relief. I am a supporter of the FairTax.
No Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
I believe education is a state responsibility

Energy independence should be a priority - both for national security and jobs

Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
No Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
"Repeal and replace". We should focus on Liability reform, being able to purchase insurance across state lines, expanding health savings accounts, protection for patients with pre-existing conditions, prohibiting government funding and preventing waste and abuse of goverment programs
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
Yes Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
Border security is a federal responsibility (and should be the priority), but if states are willing to help - GREAT.

I believe marriage is an institution of the church. I do support civil unions.
Yes Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
Yes Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon?
Until Iran publically disavows past statements against Israel we should be willing to do anything to stop them from possessing a nuclear weapon or increasing their regional power
Yes Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
